40 yards standing unsupported heart and lung shot as a headshot was not an option this time due to a thick branch. well chuffed.

Lovely looking birds ,but I would not shoot one because I feel there is not to many a round ,IMO

good shooting can be tricky birds to get a shot at,only ever had a couple over the years,sent the wings to a few lads on here that tie their own fishing flies

there were 2 in the tree but the other flew off after I shot the first one. don't think they cause too much problems on my permission theres quite a few songbirds. cant wait for the leaves to fall then I can get the squirrels that keep eluding me.

Nice one mate, bagged 3 last year but can't seem to get close enough at the moment to bag any more. There are more around than people think they are just really elusive.

I saw one on my new perm the other day but didnt bother as you don't see many an i don't have any use for them so leave them be, nice shooting though bud
